Women's Soccer tops HU, runs win streak to four

St. Thomas scored two goals in the first seven minutes en route to a 5-0 women's soccer win over Hamline in Tuesday's MIAC game on the Pipers' field.
St. Thomas (6-2 overall, 3-0 MIAC) has won four consecutive games and ran its MIAC regular-season win streak to 15. The Toms moved alone into the conference lead with the victory.
For the Tommies, Erin Sprangers contributed two goals and one assist. Ale Wicka, Lexie Fisher and Whitney Moran added goals. Kirsten Moran, Katie Ryan, Alison True and Brittany Cochlin also scored assists.
UST's Amanda Domeier played all 90 minutes in goal and had two saves.
St. Thomas plays next Saturday (11 a.m.) at unbeaten Bethel. The Royals (7-0-1) used a late goal to win Tuesday night at UW-Stout, 2-1.
