W, 2-1
Augsburg (W), September 19, 2009
Regina Horak's goal in the 88th minute lifted the host Tommies to a 2-1 win over Augsburg in MIAC women's soccer play Saturday at UST's South Field.
The Tommies (5-2 overall, 2-0 MIAC) have a 14-match conference regular-season unbeaten streak since the end of 2007.
With overtime looming, Lexie Fisher's cross feed set up Horak, and the sophomore's header shot found the back of the net for the go-ahead score.
UST scored in the 11th minute on Erin Sprangers' goal, but the Auggies tied in with a goal in the 58th minute by freshman Courtney Barthel.
The Tommies play Tuesday at Hamline.
