Women's Soccer stops Oshkosh on Sprangers' goal

Senior Erin Sprangers' second-half goal let the host Tommies (11-2-1) run their unbeaten streak to 10 was they posted a 1-0 non-conference women's soccer victory over UW-Oshkosh (8-6-2).
St. Thomas improved to 5-0 on the season against Wisconsin state university teams. UST is 9-0-1 since Sprangers returned to the lineup following a Sept. 10 loss to Loras.
Amanda Domeier was in goal all 90 minutes for the shutout. Kirsten Moran assisted on the game's lone goal. The Toms had a 12 shots on goal to just two for the Titans, and a 5-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Sprangers now has five goals on the season and 26 goals in 66 career games. UST is 22-1 on her career when she's scored a goal.
The Tommies play Wednesday at Gustavus (3:30 p.m.).
