In a battle of 2008 NCAA playoff teams, St. Thomas and Carleton played to a 0-0, two-overtime tie today in MIAC women's soccer play in Northfield.
St. Thomas was unable to convert several scoring chances and had a 14-7 advnatge in shots on goal.
The Toms (10-2-1 overall, 6-0-1 MIAC) extended their regular-season conference unbeaten streak to 19.
Allie Byron had seven saves in goal and played all 110 minutes as the Tommie defense recorded its seventh shutout of the season.
UST plays Sunday at home against UW-Oshkosh (1 p.m.)
