Lynn Hillen scored the game's only goal with 4:35 remaining to give No. 4-ranked Gustavus a 1-0 victory over No. 10 St. Thomas in Friday's MIAC women's hockey game in St. Peter.
St. Thomas (13-3 overall, 7-2 MIAC) was outshot 22-11. Lauren Bradel had 21 saves in net. Gustavus (14-1, 9-0) ran their win streak to 14 and opened a two-game lead in the MIAC standings.
The teams play again Saturday night in Mendota Heights in a game to be webcast by St. Thomas --www.mnsportsnetwork.com
