Women's Hoops wins fourth in row to stay in lead

Junior forward Jessica Katch had 15 points and 15 rebounds to lead the visiting Tommies (8-3 overall, 7-1 MIAC) to a 57-50 victory over the host Gusties (5-6, 4-4) in Saturday's MIAC women's basketball game in St. Peter.
The first-place Tommies, who had a 46-30 advantage in rebounding, have won four in a row, all in an eight-day stretch.
Sophomores Andi Olson and Sheena Porter-Wrzos each scored four points during a key 8-2 run in the final 3:30.
Carrie Embree had 13 points and eight rebounds and Olson contributed eight of her 10 points in the second half. UST shot 38% from the field to Gustavus' 32%.
UST plays Wednesday at home vs. Concordia-Moorhead (5:45 p.m.).
