Matt Boyd scored at 3:26 of overtime to lead the host and No. 1-ranked Green Knights (15-1-1) to a 4-3 victory over the No. 4-ranked Tommies (10-2-1) in non-conference men's hockey play Saturday night in Ashwaubenon, Wis.
UST had a nine-game unbeaten streak halted (8-0-1) while St. Norbert is now unbeaten in its last 14 games (13-0-1). It was second overtime goal in as many nights for Boyd, who capped a 3-2 overtime win Friday to edge St. Mary's.
St. Thomas, which trailed 2-0 after two periods, got two third-period goals by Nate Ryan, including the unassisted tying tally with one minute left in regulation. Rob Johnson also scored. Tyler Chestnut stopped 22 shots.
The Tommies return to MIAC play next Friday at home vs. St. John's.
