L, 0-2
at Bethel women, November 17, 2007
The St. Thomas women's hockey team dropped its first game of the season Saturday as it fell 2-0 to Bethel at the Blaine Super Rink. A late second-period goal and an empty-net tally by the Royals provided all the offense.
Lauren Bradel stopped 24 of 25 shots for the Tommies (3-1 overall, 1-1 MIAC). Beth Spurrier stopped all 25 shots in the shutout for the Royals (2-3, 1-1), who avenged a 3-0 loss to the Tommies one day earlier.
The Tommies play Nov. 30 at home vs. St. Catherine.
