Steve Aronson graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 2000. As a student, Aronson was named the NCAA Division III Player of the Year (2000), and led the nation in scoring with 91 points. He was named All-American three of his four years, and set the all-time MIAC scoring record with 244 points. He was the first person to sign with the Minnesota Wild in their first year as a franchise. Aronson was a CoSIDA Academic All-American, and played on threee NCAA runner-up teams in baseball and hockey. During his time at St. Thomas, he was a member of five NCAA playoff teams and six MIAC title teams.
