Rubens Pedrosa Neto graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1979. As a student, Pedrosa Neto was named to the All-MIAC and All-District 13 soccer teams. He broke the school season records for goals (25) and assists (9) in 1979. He ranks first in St. Thomas career scoring with 107 points in two seasons (43 goals).
