Randy Muetzel

Randy Muetzel graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1983, then with an MA in 1993. As a student, Muetzel was a starting quarterback, receiving two All-MIAC awards. He broke 14 school records, and is still in the St. Thomas top eight in passing yards and total offense. He completed 60 percent of his career passes and threw 38 touchdowns. He led the team to a 15-4 record over his last two seasons. Muetzel was also a four-year letter winner in tennis.
