Leonard Hannahan

Leonard "Buzz" Hannahan graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1998. As a baseball player, Hannahan broke the St. Thomas season records for games (45), hits (70), doubles (17), and runs (57). He played on three MIAC title teams and an NCAA region finalist with the Tommies. He was named first team NCAA Division III All-American as a senior in 1998, and was named conference MVP that same year. After graduating, Hannahan was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies, and played seven seasons with the Phillies organization, eventually reaching Class AAA.
