Ed Krowka

Ed Krowka graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1949. He was a four-year letter winner as quarterback for the St. Thomas football team, and was a starter on the 1948 Cigar Bowl team. He played on the 1947, 1948, and 1949 MIAC title teams. Krowka helped to build a 15-game conference win streak for the Tommies, and was named team MVP in 1948. After graduating, he signed an NFL contract with the Detroit Lions.
