Dan Schneeman graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1954. As a student, Schneeman was a four-year letter winner, specializing in freestyle. He was twice a team captain (1952-53, 1953-54) and was a member of three MIAC champion teams (1951, 1952, 1953).
