Luke Ebbesmeyer joined St. Thomas in spring 2025. This will be his first season with the Tommies.
Prior to joining the St. Thomas staff, Ebbesmeyer was an offensive analyst at Florida International University (FIU) and worked with both quarterbacks and tight ends during his time with the Panthers. In 2024, Ebbesmeyer helped FIU starting quarterback Keyone Jenkins threw for the secondmost touchdowns in school history, and Ebbesmeyer was also charged with film breakdown and scout team defense during his time with the Panthers.
In addition to his experience at FIU, Ebbesmeyer served in multiple roles at the University of Memphis during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. He served as a Defensive Quality Control specialist in 2020 and was a defensive graduate assistant in 2021. Ebbesmeyer was also the special teams coordinator and linebackers coach at The First Academy in Orlando, Florida.
A Division I athlete himself, Ebbesmeyer was a longsnapper for both Auburn and Central Florida. He was a member of the Tigers 2013 SEC Championship team and led Knights to the 2017 ACC title and Peach Bowl appearance. He graduated from Central Florida in 2017.
