KeKe Burks
KeKe Burks is in her third season as an assistant coach with St. Thomas Track & Field with a focus on throws.

During her first season with the Tommies, Burks coached four top 10 finishers at the 2022 Summit League Outdoor Championships, including a fourth-place finish by Parker Feuerborn in the hammer throw. Burks also coached Feuerborn to a third-place finish in the weight throw at the 2022 Summit League Indoor Championships as one of three top-10 finishers for the Tommies.

Prior to joining St. Thomas, Burks coached at Macalester College during the 2020-21 seasons. She coached a sixth-place finisher in discus at the 2021 MIAC Outdoor Championships.

Burks was a member of the track & field teams at Minnesota (2014-16) after transferring from North Dakota (2012-14). While at Minnesota, Burks was named a two-time USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honoree, a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and an Academic All-Big Ten honoree. She placed eighth in the hammer throw at the 2013 Big Ten Outdoor Championships and qualified for the NCAA West Prelim in the event, finishing 16th and winning the unseeded section of the hammer throw with a personal record of 60.47m (198-04). Burks ended the season ranked fifth in program history in the hammer throw and seventh in the weight throw (19.06m/62-06.50).
