Jana Morton is in her second year as the assistant coach of the women's golf team. Her passion for golf has spanned her entire life. Her love for building relationships and sharing her her passion for the game of golf with others has led her to coaching for quite a long time on the high school and junior golf levels.
Apart from her coaching experience, Morton has also been a high school counselor for nearly 20 years. She has a passion for creating sports graphics and contributes to the TommieWGolf Instagram page. She got her undergraduate degree in child psychology from the University of Minnesota where she played golf from 1990-1994. The then Jana Erdmann was a captain with the Gophers and also a selection to an all-Big Ten team. After graduation, she attained her masters degree in school counseling from Minnesota State University.
Jana is married with three children.
