Kyle Lurvey
Kyle Lurvey joined Tommie Women’s Basketball as an assistant coach in 2023. 
 
Lurvey came to St. Thomas after serving as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Hope College in Holland, Mich., since 2017. During his time with the Flying Dutchmen, Lurvey helped the program to a NCAA Division III national championship in 2022 behind the nation’s top scoring offense at 87.3 points per game. Lurvey coached five All-Americans and the 2022 National Player of the Year, along with helping Hope to five MIAA regular season championships, five MIAA tournament championships, and a 156-11 record over the past six seasons. 
 
Prior to joining Hope, he was an assistant coach at Albion College (2016-17) and an assistant coach at Southfield Christian High School (2013-16). Lurvey assisted Southfield Christian to Michigan High School Athletic Association Class D State Championships in 2013 and 2014 and coached 11 future NCAA DI basketball players. 
 
Lurvey earned his bachelor's degree in secondary social studies education from Taylor University, graduating in 2012. He served as a student assistant during his time at Taylor University. 
 
Lurvey is married to his wife, Quinn, and has one son.
