Tom Kleczewski is entering his 15th season as the assistant coach of the St. Thomas men's soccer team in 20221.

Kleczewski and the other St. Thomas coaches were honored as the Region Coaching Staff of the Year in 2016 and 2017. For the previous 10 seasons, he worked as an assistant coach with the University of St. Thomas and Hamline University men's teams, while also serving as the head coach of the Academy of Holy Angels varsity team. Kleczewski has worked as a staff coach for Region II Olympic Development Program and for Minnesota & Rhode Island state teams. He is the Assistant Director of Coaching for Edina Soccer Club where he oversees the U14-U18 teams during the club season. He was also on staff as a goalkeeper trainer for the Minnesota Stars' inaugural season in the NASL in 2010.

As a player, Kleczewski won numerous State Cup championships in Minnesota before attending the University of Rhode Island and competing in the Atlantic-10 Conference. He finished his college career at Macalester College where he earned a degree in sociology.

He resides in Minneapolis, Minn., with his wife, Jessica.
