Jeff Frykholm joined the Tommie coaching staff in 2019, relocating to St. Paul from Boulder, Colo. Jeff was heavily involved in both club and high school soccer in Colorado for many years, and served his home club of FC Boulder in various capacities including the Executive Director, the Director of Soccer Education, Director of Coaching, and as the Director of the FC Boulder U.S. Development Academy program.
At St. Thomas he assists all aspects of the program with an emphasis on recruiting.
Within the high-school ranks, Jeff led one of the most highly-regarded programs in Colorado, Fairview High, to local and regional recognition, amassing over 80 wins in his six seasons as the Varsity coach at Fairview.
His coaching career has taken him to various positions across the country where he has has won club state championships in two states, received coaching honors in both club and high school contexts, and helped to develop and guide numerous players to further their careers in college and the professional game.
Jeff holds a USSF “A” license, as well as the “Premier Diploma” from the United Soccer Coaches.
