Tony Pasquesi joined the St. Thomas Athletics Department as Assistant Director of Athletic Communication in Fall 2022.

Pasquesi spent the summer of 2022 as the Assistant Director of Media Relations for the Gary SouthShore RailCats where he served as the number two broadcaster and public address announcer for the team. He also functioned as the primary contact for opposing clubs to exchange lineups, game notes, and rosters.

Tony heads to St. Thomas on the heels of his graduation from Saint Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota in May of 2022. In addition to graduating with degrees in Sports Management and Digital Media Journalism, he was the voice of the Cardinals for three years. He oversaw the athletic department's broadcasting efforts, which included broadcasting multiple different sports (soccer, volleyball, hockey, basketball, track and field, baseball, and softball).

Pasquesi's love for broadcasting sport inspired him to establish the Saint Mary's Sports Network, where he broadcast Cardinal’s baseball games. In its inaugural year, the team won its first-ever Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Playoff Championship with him on the call. He also traveled with the 2021-22 women’s hockey team in their quest to knock down the Hamline Pipers at TRIA Rink in the first round of the MIAC Playoffs.

Pasquesi is from the Chicagoland area and graduated from Fenwick High School, where he was a four-year varsity and two-time All-State long jumper. His love of athletics continues to this day, as he is now an avid cyclist.
