Trent Eigner joined the St. Thomas Men's Hockey staff in fall 2022 as Player Development Volunteer. Eigner was reunited with Rico Blasi, his college teammate and fellow team captain at Miami (Ohio).
The Rosemount, Minn., native was an eight-year head coach at Lakeville (Minn.) North High from 2011-19, guiding the Panthers to one state championship and one runner-up finish in four state appearances. His teams produced 16 Division I players and three NHL draft picks with one current NHL player.
Eigner previously played and served as head coach in Juniors hockey for the El Paso Buzzards.
