Started 24 of 27 games played… set the program’s Division I single-game record with seven steals Jan. 15 at North Dakota, where he added 10 assists with just two turnovers… one of program’s two 10-assist games of the DI era… totaled eight games with at least five assists… began career with eight points Nov. 3 at Saint Mary’s (CA]… one of three Tommies during DI era with three games of 10+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists… shot 52.7 percent overall (49-93) and 37.8 percent on 3-pointers (14-37) for 5.5 points per game… led the Summit League and ranked 56th nationally with 2.6 assist-to-turnover ratio, behind 94 assists, and led the team and was 101st nationally with 1.8 steals per game… totaled 4.0 rebounds per game, tied for 21st in the Summit League… second on the Tommies and tied for fourth in the league with 3.6 assists per game… tied for the program’s Division I era single-season record 1.7 steals per game along with the third most steals (46), fourth most assists per game (3.6), fifth highest assist-to-turnover ratio (2.6), and fifth most assists (94).

Redshirted during true freshman season in 2023-24 before playing in 10 games in 2024-25 with the Gamecocks… scored lone basket of the season at Florida… an SEC Academic Honor Roll member both seasons.
High School
A letter winner in basketball at Whitnall and led team to 25-4 record and state championship game as a senior after averaging 14.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game… shot 45 percent from the field and 36 percent from behind the arc… three-star recruit and the third ranked player in the state of Wisconsin in the class of 2023 via ESPN.com… played AAU for Team Herro and was coached by his dad, Chris; and teammates with Luka (St. Thomas) and Milan Momcilovic (Iowa State)… helped Team Herro to a 6-1 record at EYBL Peach Jam in Augusta in summer of 2022.
Personal
Son of Chris and Jen Herro and has two siblings, Tyler and Myles, who he was high school teammates with… brother Tyler starred at Kentucky (2018-19) and currently plays for the Miami Heat, where he was a 2025 NBA All-Star and the 2022 NBA Sixth Man of the Year.
