All Journal and All-State Selection as a senior. Finished prep career with perfect 16-0 record and a 0.61 earned run average. Three year Letter Winner in Baseball & Two year letter winner in Football. Selected as Team Captain in Football. 1st Team All Area Selection. Struck out 11 batters and tossed a no-hitter against Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart as a senior. Pitched for New Ulm Gold in American Legion.

Biggest Sports Thrill: Winning Class A State Championship in football my senior year. Making my first varsity pitching start my sophomore year in the state third place game and winning.
