The 2023 season will be the second for Greg Nesbitt as a member of the Tommie Baseball coaching staff.
A native of Burnsville, Minn., Nesbitt is a 1997 graduate of Burnsville High and a 2002 graduate of the University of North Dakota. He has more than 20 years of experience coaching high school, American Legion and college baseball. In 2013, Nesbitt led Burnsville to the American Legion World Series.
In 2014, he was named Minnesota's American Legion Coach of the Year. He was the head coach at Prior Lake High from 2014 to 2018. Following his time at Prior Lake, Nesbitt was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Century College from 2018 to 2021.
Over the last 10 years, he has also spent time working for multiple travel and club baseball programs across the Twin Cities. Throughout his coaching career, he has coached more than 30 athletes who went on to play Division I baseball, including three MLB draft picks.
Greg currently resides in Lakeville, Minn., with his wife Melissa and their three children: Wyatt, Talia and Evie.
