St. Thomas announces beer sales at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas will begin offering beer sales at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena starting February 20. This will expand availability from Premium Areas only to the entire venue. Alcohol sales will be conducted in accordance with university policies and applicable state laws.
The update comes as Tommie Athletics enters a busy stretch of home events across multiple sports. St. Thomas men's hockey is currently in first place in the CCHA standings entering the final two weeks of the regular season and will host Augustana this weekend with the opportunity to secure home ice for the playoffs. The women's hockey team also remains in contention for its highest finish of the Division I era in the WCHA standings, hosting Minnesota State on Friday and Saturday.
On the basketball side, Johnny Tauer and the Tommies sit in second place in the Summit League standings as the team continues conference play. St. Thomas will host North Dakota State and Omaha to close the month of February. The women's basketball program will also honor longtime head coach Ruth Sinn during the final home game of her career on February 25.
