Krenc stops six shots in Tommie shutout of Omaha
ST. PAUL, Minn. — Moritz Krenc has been named Summit League Defensive Peak Performer of the Week for the second time in his career after a phenomenal showing against unbeaten Omaha (Summit League play) over the weekend.
The 6-foot-5 German goalkeeper stopped a season-high six shots en route to his fourth shutout of the year. The performance was part of a string of strong outings for the senior, who lowered his goals-against average to 1.00 (tied for 37th in the country) and raised his save percentage to .769 (43rd).
Krenc is already the program's all-time leader in saves, wins and games played. He has now added most defensive weekly honors to that list with his first award since October 2024.
