VanArragon goes three-for-three in weekly honors to begin season
ST. PAUL, Minn – Kathryn VanArragon has now been named Summit League Golfer of the Week more times in the last four weeks than she was in the previous three seasons combined, earning the honor again after claiming her third individual title of the season.
The Blaine, Minn., native picked up her third victory at the Diane Thomason Invitational in Davenport, Iowa, hosted by the Iowa Hawkeyes earlier this week. She has now competed in three tournaments this season and won all three.
VanArragon led the Tommies to a podium finish behind a sparkling 67 (-4) in the first round, the second-lowest score of the tournament. She finished the week at 67-73-72—215 (-1), one of just two golfers in the field to finish under par.
