ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas Vice President, Director of Athletics, Dr. Phil Esten, KMSP FOX 9 and WFTC FOX 9+ Senior Vice President and General Manager Marian Davey announced the finalized broadcast schedule for Tommie Athletics Monday. The local FOX networks will air a minimum of 15 St. Thomas home events throughout the 2025-26 academic year, including several premium games in Lee & Penny Anderson Arena.
"We're thrilled to continue our partnership with St. Thomas and to provide broadcasts of their games to fans across the region," said Davey. "With the debut of Lee & Penny Anderson Arena and the Tommies officially eligible for NCAA Division I postseason play, we know this will be an exciting and memorable season."
In early August, St. Thomas announced an extension of its partnership with FOX, as their stations will once again serve as the official TV broadcast home of Tommie football, men's and women's basketball and men's and women's hockey. On Monday, the two organizations announced the finalized TV schedule, which includes 15 broadcasts of select St. Thomas home events. Fox will broadcast the final four Tommie home football games, six basketball games and five hockey games throughout 2025-26. Announced in late August, one of those games will be the men's hockey showdown with North Dakota at the Grand Casino Arena on October 12.
In addition to the Grand Casino Arena game, the first in the building under its new name, hockey and football will take center stage on FOX9+, as the network is set to air five games throughout the months of October. This includes both the men's and women's home openers against Providence on October 24 and the two home football games during the month. Basketball officially hits the air waves in November, with the FOX family of networks broadcasting the arena openers against Army on November 8. The two teams will also be heavily featured in January and February, as FOX9+ will air four St. Thomas Summit League basketball contests throughout the winter months.
Women's hockey will also be featured in December and February. Women's hockey fans can watch both games against Minnesota on December 5 and February 6.
FOX 9+, your ticket to local sports, reaches nearly two million homes and can be found on Comcast channel 10/807, DirecTV channel 29, DISH channel 29, Spectrum channel 10, Mediacom channel 10/803, and Over-The-Air channel 9.2. In addition, these games will be available on FOX 9+ on Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV, FuboTV, and YouTube TV.
KMSP FOX 9 and WFTC FOX 9 Plus are part of the FOX Television Stations which owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in nine of the top ten largest designated market areas (DMAs), and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago).
