St. Thomas extends partnership with NIKE and BSN SPORTS

ST. PAUL, MINN. The University of St. Thomas Vice President and Director of Athletics Phil Esten announced St. Thomas Athletics has agreed to a new multi-year partnership with NIKE and BSN SPORTS. NIKE, a global leader in sport apparel, will be the official outfitter of Tommie athletics and BSN SPORTS will serve as the official supplier of uniforms, apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories.
"NIKE is an iconic brand, and we are thrilled to announce NIKE and BSN SPORTS as the official outfitters of St. Thomas athletics," commented Esten. "NIKE is synonymous with excellence and championship-level performance, putting St. Thomas on the same level and playing field as our Division I peers. BSN has also established itself as a top provider for universities and colleges across the nation, and I am very excited to work with both organizations and the future of Tommie athletics."
The Tommies initially signed with NIKE and BSN SPORTS in 2021 and renewed the partnership earlier this spring. As the official outfitter and supplier of St. Thomas athletics, student-athletes will have access to NIKE's cutting edge and innovative designs, as Tommies will wear the company's Sideline gear for all games, practices, and official team outings moving forward. Additionally, NIKE and BSN will provide uniforms for 19 of St. Thomas 21 athletic teams, excluding men's and women's hockey.
Todd Northrop, SVP of BSN SPORTS Collegiate Select Division said, "We are honored to have the opportunity to join NIKE in service of Tommie Athletics at the University of St. Thomas. This partnership will positively impact the experience of the coaches, athletes and supporters through tailored team sport resources, tools and service teams that allow the athletic department to focus on what matters most - the student athletes."
Fans will be able to purchase Tommie gear through BSN SPORT's online Sideline Store, found on tommiesports.com. Additionally, fans will have the option to purchase gear at Tommie's Locker Room, the official team store of St. Thomas Athletics, starting in fall 2025. Tommie's Locker Room's physical storefront will be located in the Lee and Penny Anderson Arena, set to open in October 2025.
