ST. PAUL, MINN. – It's March, which means football season is just around the corner. With spring practices starting Tuesday, the University of St. Thomas football team announced its full schedule for the 2025 season. The Tommies will face some of their toughest competition in the DI era, as they are slated to face North Dakota State University, Idaho University and Lindenwood University in nonconference play.
St. Thomas will officially kick off the 2025 season on Thursday, August 28 when it hosts the Lindenwood Lions at 7:00 p.m. That will be the Tommies lone home game in the first month of the season, as they travel to Idaho, Northern Michigan and San Diego before returning to host Butler for Homecoming on October 4. St. Thomas will also host Valparaiso (October 18), Marist (November 1) and Presbyterian (November 15) in 2025 as the team looks for its second Pioneer Football League (PFL) title of the DI era. The Tommies will conclude the regular season in Fargo, North Dakota, as they take on the reigning FCS Champion North Dakota State Bison on November 22.
St. Thomas has several top tier events and promotions planned for the 2025 season. In addition to hosting Homecoming on October 4, Family Weekend will take place October 18, and the Tommies will host the first ever Youth Football Night for the home opener on Thursday, August 28 and High School Band Day on Saturday, November. Interested parties should reach out to Jenn Fabian (jfabian@stthomas.edu) for more information.
In addition to announcing the 2025 schedule, season tickets for St. Thomas football are now on sale at www.tommiesports.com/tickets. Fowler veranda seats are currently available for purchase, and bench seats start at $75. Seatbacks will start at $150. Information regarding single game tickets will be released in May.
