St. Thomas falls to No.3 Minnesota in final game of 2025

Ellah Hause tallies lone Tommie goal
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. - The St. Thomas Tommies (8-12-0, 4-10-0) fall 4-1 to No. 3 Minnesota Gophers (14-4-0, 10-4-0) Saturday afternoon. Ellah Hause tallied the lone Tommie goal in the third period.
Scoring Summary:
First Period: Minnesota opened the scoring early by netting a goal just 1:11 into the contest. The Gophers then tallied their second goal of the period four minutes later to take a 2-0 lead. The Tommies then had an opportunity of their own after Gophers Abbey Murphy was sent to the box for five minutes but were not able to score. Minnesota took a 2-0 lead into the break.
Second Period: The Golden Gophers then tallied their third goal of the game 5:08 into the period, taking a 3-0 lead. Minnesota then took a 4-0 lead with 8:30 to play in the period.
Third Period: Ellah Hause got the Tommies on the board in the third with about 10 minutes left to play off assists from Cara Sajevic and Jenessa Gazdik.
Up Next
The Tommies have wrapped up the 2025 portion of the schedule and will return to the ice on Jan. 3, 2026, for an exhibition game at St. Cloud before welcoming the Bemidji State Beavers to St. Paul Jan. 9-10 for the first series of 2026.
