St. Thomas enters into partnership with Mauer Auto Group

ST. PAUL, MINN. – Two well known St. Paul names are partnering together. The University of St. Thomas Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, Tommie Sports Properties, announced the signing of a new partnership agreement with Mauer Auto Group Friday morning.
"St. Thomas Athletics is thrilled to partner with Mauer Auto Group as the official auto dealer of Tommie Athletics," said Vice President, Director of Athletics Dr. Phil Esten. "A well known name in the city of St. Paul, this partnership with Mauer is not only transformative for our department, but also our female student-athletes thanks to Mauer's Assist the Community initiative."
With the partnership, Mauer Auto Group will be the Official Auto Dealer of Tommie Athletics and will also support St. Thomas female student-athletes through the Assist the Community donation initiative. For every assist tallied by the Tommie women's hockey and basketball teams, Mauer Auto Group will donate back to the student-athlete scholarship funds for those specific programs.
"It's a natural fit for us to have a partnership with St. Thomas Athletics," said Mauer Auto Group CEO Michael Meisinger. "We both have strong St. Paul ties, believe in the enduring value of sports and want to see all students—athletes or not— realize their extraordinary potential."
