Strom named WCHA Goaltender of the Week

Strom collects first WCHA Honor of her career

St. Paul, Minn — Dani Strom earned the WCHA Goaltender of the Week honor after her strong performance against the #2 Ohio State Buckeyes, as announced by the league's office on Monday.  
 
The freshman goaltender totaled 69 saves and a .920 SV% in two games against Ohio State.
   
On Saturday, Strom shutout the Buckeyes in regulation time, sending the game into overtime knotted at 0-0. Strom finished the game totaling career-high 39 saves, posting a .975 SV% in the series finale.
 
This the first WCHA Honor of Strom's career, as she is the second Tommie to collect a WCHA Weekly accolade this season.
