Boreen named WCHA Rookie of the Week

The freshman forward earns her second weekly honor of the season
ST. PAUL, Minn.— Chloe Boreen earned the WCHA Rookie of the Week honor after her strong performance against the #1 Wisconsin Badgers, as announced by the league's office on Monday.
This is the second weekly honor for Boreen, as she was named WCHA Rookie of the week on Oct. 7 after a three-point weekend against the Post Eagles.
The Somerset, Wis. native posted an assist in each of the games against Wisconsin last weekend. Boreen added four shots on goal and three blocks against the top-ranked Badgers.
Boreen has posted 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists) through 16 games played to begin her collegiate career.

The Tommies travel to Tennessee to play in the Smashville Showcase over Thanksgiving weekend. St. Thomas is set to play Clarkson on Friday, Nov. 29, and Penn State or Merrimack the following afternoon.
