Her experience and high volleyball IQ allow her to make smart attacking choices and strong defensive plays. We're excited to see her impact at St. Thomas as she brings energy and competitiveness to our program."
Reilly Kurth (Middle Blocker, 6-2, Maple Grove, Minn. / Wayzata HS)
Kurth is a letter winner at Wayzata High School under head coach Scott Jackson. A two-time 4A Volleyball State Champion (2022, 2023) and a two-time All-Lake Conference selection, Kurth played an essential role in leading her team to back-to-back titles. She earned both team and individual Academic All-State honors twice, showcasing her excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
Kurth is the daughter of Todd and Kristine Kurth and has two siblings, Fischer and Hunter. Alongside volleyball, she competed in basketball and track and field throughout high school, displaying her versatility as an athlete. Kurth plans to major in business at St. Thomas.
Coach Pham's Thoughts: "Reilly Kurth joins us from powerhouse Wayzata High School, where she developed her skills in a highly competitive environment. At 6-1, she brings both height and athleticism to our middle blocker position, enhancing our depth in that area. Her experience and training at Wayzata will be a valuable asset to our team dynamics and overall defensive strength."
Addison Menefee (Outside Hitter, 6-1, Houston, Texas / Ridge Point HS)
Menefee is a letter winner at Ridge Point High School in Missouri City, Texas, where she played under head coach Louise Crite. Standing at 6-foot-1, Menefee was instrumental in her team's success as District 20-6A Champions and was recognized with an All-District Honorable Mention.

Menefee has excelled academically, being a member of the National Honor Society, receiving Academic Excellence awards, and consistently earning a spot on the A/B Honor Roll. She plans to major in business at St. Thomas.
Coach Pham's Thoughts: "Addison Menefee is a 6-1 outside hitter with a powerful arm, making her a constant offensive threat. Her ability to generate forceful attacks and challenge blockers sets her apart. We're excited to see her continue to develop and make an impact."
Camryn Overton (Outside Hitter/Opposite, 5-11, Indianola, Iowa / Indianola HS)
Overton is a letter winner at Indianola High School where she played under head coach Kent Halstead. Overton earned numerous honors throughout her high school career, including Second Team All-State in Class 4A, First Team All-District in Class 4A, and First Team All-Conference in the Little Hawkeye Conference. During her senior season, she surpassed 1,000 career kills and was named to the Des Moines Register 4A All-Iowa High School Team. She plans to major in biology at St. Thomas.
Coach Pham's Thoughts: "Camryn Overton from Indianola, Iowa, has the ball control skills and personality to make an impact on the team. Camryn's work ethic and positive attitude will be key assets to our program both on and off the court."
Anya Schmidt (Pin Hitter, 5-10, Rogers, Minn. / Rogers HS)
Schmidt is a letter winner at Rogers High School head coach Bo Schmidt, who is her father. Schmidt was named All-State four times and made the All-State Tournament Team three times. She holds the MSHSL record for service aces in both a single season and a career and was awarded the Ms. Baden honor, given to Minnesota's top senior player. Additionally, she was a five-time All-Little Hawkeye Conference selection and won an MSHSL state championship in shot put as a member of the track & field team.
Schmidt is the daughter of Bo and Alicia Schmidt and has two siblings, Caitlin and Reegan. She earned Academic All-State honors and the AP Scholar with Honor Award. She plans to major in biochemistry at St. Thomas.
Coach Pham's Thoughts: "Anya Schmidt was named Ms. Baden earlier this month, the highest award a high school player can earn in the state of Minnesota. Her competitive nature, leadership on the court, and team-first attitude will fit in perfectly with our program. Anya's drive to continually improve and her passion for the game make her a great addition to our team."
Heidi Wingate (Middle Blocker, 6-1, Katy, Texas / Seven Lakes HS)
Wingate is a letter winner at Seven Lakes High School where she played under head coach Amy Cataline. She led her district in blocks and hitting percentage for two consecutive seasons, recording 106 blocks and a .385 hitting percentage in 2024. She was named the 2024 Varsity Captain and was selected for the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) Texas State All-Star Game. Wingate is a three-time All-District Team selection and appeared on the Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association (GHVCA) Pre-season Watch List in 2024.
Wingate is the daughter of John and Hannah Wingate and has one sibling, Emma. She comes from a family with a rich athletic background: her sister, Emma, plays softball at Tufts University; her mother, Hannah, was a swimmer at the University of New Mexico; her father, John, played football at the University of New Mexico; and her grandfather, Jim Wingate, played professional baseball in the Cleveland Indians organization from 1966-1968. Wingate excelled as a member of the National Honor Society and earned Academic All-District honors for three years, as well as a spot on the GHVCA Post-Season All-Academic Team. She plans to major in biology with a minor in global health at St. Thomas.
Coach Pham's Thoughts: "Heidi Wingate is an explosive middle blocker that continues to improve. Her athleticism and quickness make her a constant threat at the net, both offensively and defensively. With continued development, Heidi has the potential to be a dominant force in the middle for our team."
