Chloe Boreen collects first WCHA Honor of her Career

After a three-point weekend debut, the freshman forward is named WCHA Rookie of the Week

St. Paul, Minn — In her Tommie Hockey debut, Chloe Boreen recorded three points in a weekend sweep against the Post Eagles. The first-year was named WCHA Rookie of the Week for her strong performance over the weekend, as announced by the league's office on Monday.  
   
The Somerset, Wis. native scored one goal and recorded two assists against Post last weekend.  
 
The Tommies defeated the Eagles 7-0 in game one of the season. In Friday's win Boreen recorded her first collegiate goal and tallied an assist, posting a multi-point game in her college hockey debut.
 
On Saturday, Boreen recorded an assist in the Tommies' sweep over Post in the first series of the season.

St. Thomas Women's Hockey opens WCHA play against Minnesota State on Oct. 11-12.
