Signature Concepts to open Tommie's Locker Room in new arena

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas Director of Athletics Dr. Phil Esten announced a new partnership for the Tommie Athletics Department entering its fourth year of Division I competition. Signature Concepts has become the official in-venue merchandising source for Tommie Athletics and will run and operate Tommie's Locker Room, the official team store of St. Thomas Athletics, starting in 2025.
"This is an exciting day for Tommie Athletics," said Esten, who began his sixth year as the Director of Athletics in January 2024. "Signing with Signature Concepts as our official retail partner puts us on par with our Division I peers, including schools like the University of Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin, and elevates a facility like the Lee and Penny Anderson Arena. This partnership gives us the opportunity and potential to grow St. Thomas' brand and visibility not just at a local level, but regionally and nationally as well."
Like its peers, Tommie's Locker Room will have a physical location at the Lee and Penny Anderson Arena, which is set to open on South Campus during the 2025-26 academic year. Additionally, Signature will operate remote locations at various St. Thomas athletic events, including those held at O'Shaughnessy Stadium and Schoenecker Arena, as Signature Concepts will be responsible for all in-venue merchandising for Tommie Athletics.

Located in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Signature Concepts is a well-known company throughout the college sports landscape, as they own and operate Goldy's Locker Room, Bucky's Locker Room and Gold Country. The company also provides merchandise for the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL), the Minnesota State Fair, and the St. Paul Saints, the AAA affiliate of the Minnesota Twins.
