St. Thomas football announces 2024 schedule

Tommies to play six games at O'Shaughnessy Stadium
ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas announced the Tommie football schedule for the 2024 season. St. Thomas is slated to play 11 games in the upcoming year, including six in the comforts of O'Shaughnessy Stadium.
The Tommies schedule is jam packed with tough competition, both in nonconference and Pioneer Football League (PFL) play. St. Thomas is slated to host nationally ranked Northern Iowa on September 7 and Black Hills State University one week later on September 14. The Tommies will then round out their nonconference schedule on the road, playing Lindenwood University on September 21 before enjoying a bye week September 28.
St. Thomas will also have a juggernaut of a schedule in PFL play, as the Tommies are slated to play eight conference games, four at home and four on the road. St. Thomas will open the conference schedule with a home game against Stetson on October 5 as a part of Family Weekend before back-to-back road tests at Marist and Valparaiso. The Tommies will close PFL play with alternating home and away games, hosting San Diego (October 26), Drake (November 9) and Dayton (November 23) with road trips Morehead State (November 2) and Butler (November 16). The November 9 match up with the Bulldogs, featuring the two most recent PFL Champions, will be the Homecoming game.
St. Thomas enters the 2024 season holding the longest home-field win streak in college football. The Tommies have won 31 consecutive games at O'Shaughnessy Stadium and have not lost on campus since December 3, 2016. St. Thomas additionally has not lost a regular season game at O'Shaughnessy Stadium since September 27, 2014, creating a remarkable home field advantage. Since then, the Tommies have won 42 consecutive regular season games on their home field, according to available records.
