Richartz named final Summit Peak Performer of the Week for 2023

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Brigs Richartz ended his sophomore campaign for St. Thomas baseball with a bang after being named the final 2023 TicketSmarter Summit League Peak Performer of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Richartz, a native of Menomonie, Wis., was a big part of the Tommies' season-ending series win at New Mexico State after leading the team with 10 hits, eight RBI, eight runs, and three stolen bases. He hit .588 (10-17) from the plate with two doubles, one triple, and one home run.
Richartz recorded multiple hits and runs during all three games, and tallied four RBI performances over the final two games of the series. Two of his three stolen bases came during game one's 12-9 win Thursday while the third came during the series-clinching 17-9 victory Saturday.
This is the second weekly honor Richartz has received, previously taking the award on May 23, 2022.
