Women's Tennis closes season with Summit win over WIU

Waterloo, Iowa -- Tommie Women's Tennis closed out its 2023 dual meet season with Sunday's 5-2 victory over Western Illinois. The match was moved from Illinois to Waterloo, Iowa.
Marthe Degeorges reached 10 season wins at No. 1 singles (10-4) to lead St. Thomas (2-15 overall, 1-6 Summit). The Purple ended a five-game conference losing streak that included four 4-3 losses.
Senior Olivia Paradise closed her college tennis career with two wins on the day. Paradise finished with 50 career victories at St. Thomas in singles and doubles matches over the dual-meet seasons in both Division III and D-I.
Naisha Srivastav pushed her singles win streak to four as she won a three-set decision at No. 5 singles.
Tentu Shrichandrakala also won in singles and doubles.
