St. Louis, Mo. -- St. Louis closed out a weekend sweep of Tommie Baseball with Sunday's 5-2 win in non-conference play.
The Billikens (7-3) -- a 29-win team last season -- have won seven in a row. They outhit the Toms 10-6.
Evan Esch and Jacob Mrosko each worked four innings for the Purple and combined to strike out six and walk three with three earned runs allowed.
Tanner March drove in the Toms' first run with a sac fly, and Matthew Enck added an RBI single.
Max Moris had two hits on Sunday and went 5-for-7 over the three-game series. Enck went 5-for-11.
The Tommies are scheduled to play four games next weekend at Illinois-Chicago.
