Record-Breaking Tommie Give Day for St. Thomas Athletics

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The University of St. Thomas community exhibited its support and generosity once again as Tommie Athletics saw its most successful Tommie Give Day yet on Nov. 14, 2023. Together, 691 donors rallied to support over 500+ Tommie student-athletes. That is a 38% increase in the number of donors participating in Tommie Give Day 2022, and 142% increase from two years ago, our first Tommie Give Day in Division I.

Those alumni, friends, families, fans, and supporters, from 30 different states, generously gave $1,437,496 to provide Tommie student-athletes with the resources necessary to relentlessly pursue comprehensive excellence in the classroom, the community, through character, and in competition. This was 43% of the overall University record-breaking total of $3,350,984.

"We are so grateful for the incredible support that was shown by our alumni, families, and friends of Tommie Athletics on Tommie Give Day. This continued generosity will allow us to support our student-athletes and provide them the necessary resources to achieve comprehensive excellence," stated Ben Fraser, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development. "We could not be more thankful."

Tommie Baseball finished at the top of all teams and programs with 69 donors, followed closely by Men's Hockey (62 donors), and Men's Cross Country/Track & Field and Football (both with 49 donors).
