The final Tommie-Johnnie men's soccer game was played Saturday in Collegeville, with St. Thomas riding two Halvor Houg penalty-kick conversions to a 2-1 comeback victory.
The Johnnies scored in the 13th minute on a free kick just outside the box. But Houg beat the SJU goalie twice on penalty kicks, in the 18th and 38th minutes, for the game's only scoring.
St. Thomas (3-1) had a 9-4 edge in shots on goal.
Coach Jon Lowery's team closed out a four-game spring season and ended its Division III chapter and MIAC era with this condensed season.
