Women's Tennis pushes MIAC record to 4-0

St. Thomas Women's Tennis stormed to a 4-0 MIAC start on the season with Sunday's 9-0 victory over St. Ben's in an indoor match in Sartell, Minn.
Olivia Paradise, Brooke Hapuku and freshmen Janah ElNemr, Nicole Snezhko, Monterey Knewtson and Clare Palen won in both doubles and singles. Knewtson and Palen battled to an 8-6 win at first doubles.
The Tommies (5-3 overall, 4-0 MIAC) ran their win streak to five and stayed unbeaten against Division III teams.The Purple took wins over St. Catherine and St. Ben's over the last three days, avenging 2020 season losses to both teams.
The Toms will play indoors next Friday afternoon in Eden Prairie against UW-Eau Claire.
