St. Thomas sophomore center Brynne Rolland posted her fourth career double double with 30 points and 13 rebounds and added three blocks in Wednesday night's 63-38 home win over Macalester in MIAC women's hoops at Schoenecker Arena.

The Tommies (13-3 overall, 9-2 MIAC), who moved to 6-0 in January games, remain in a three-way tie for second place in the conference standings behind unbeaten Bethel.

Abby Mackenthun added 10 rebounds, six points and three assists for the Purple, who had a 46-29 rebounding edge. They built a 20-point second-quarter lead to take control.

The Scots were led by Celine Sabbagh's 12 points, and Justine Barraza's nine points, five rebounds and five assists.

The Tommies return home Saturday (3 p.m.) to face St. Catherine.
