Top-seed Carleton scored a 5-2 win over St. Thomas in an MIAC women's tennis semifinal playoff mtch Friday in Northfield.
The Tommies (12-5) closed the season with the road loss.
St. Thomas won 8-5 at second singles with Taylor McLeod and Paige McLeod, and got a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles from freshman Taylor Jackson.
Olivia Paradise and Jackson lost 8-6 at first doubles.
Carleton secured the fifth point for the match victory with wins at Nos. 2-4-6 singles.
