Fast start propels Women's Hockey in MIAC-opening win

Seven players scored goals as Tommie Women's Hockey cruised past St. Olaf 8-1 in MIAC play Friday night in Mendota Heights.

Maddy Fiedler scored two goals and 12 Tommies scored at least one point for the Tommies (2-1-1 overall, 1-0 MIAC). St. Thomas scored three goals in the first seven minutes and never looked back.

The teams play again Saturday night at the St. Olaf rink on campus in Northfield.
