Women's Soccer ties Knights, still near MIAC lead

St. Thomas and Carleton played to a 0-0 tie in two overtimes in MIAC women's soccer play Saturday on a cold, breezy day at UST's South Field.
The No. 20-ranked Toms (7-2-2 overall, 3-1-1 MIAC) extended their home unbeaten streak to 19. They had a 6-2 advantage in shots on goal, and Sarah Pasternak was in goal for the shutout.
Carleton (7-2-2, 4-1-1) joins St. Thomas among five MIAC teams with one or no conference losses.
The Toms play Tuesday at Concordia-Moorhead.
