A Bair inside creates chaos in Men's Basketball win

Senior center Connor Bair converted 10-for-10 shots from the floor en route to a team-best 20 points as the host Tommies outscored St. Scholastica, 98-72, in non-conference men's basketball Tuesday night at Schoenecker Arena.
Sixteen different players scored for St. Thomas (2-1), which collected 51 bench points, shot 54 percent from the field, and had just eight turnovers.
The Tommies used an early 20-4 run to take control. They sank 10 treys en route to a 50-28 halftime lead. UST closed the first half on a 17-7 run, and closed the game on a 31-16 run.
Freshman guard Anders Nelson, making his Schoenecker Arena debut, scored 11 points in the game's first five minutes. He finished with 17 points and four assists.
UST sophomore guard Burt Hedstrom scored 15 points, and freshman guard Riley Miller added 10 points.
Saints junior guard Collin Anderson scored 25 points, Brandon Newman chipped in 15 points and seven rebounds, and Connor Gray added 10 rebounds.
St. Thomas has an eight-day layoff then starts MIAC play Nov. 28 at Macalester. Coach John Tauer's team started a stretch on Tuesday which includes 11 of their next 12 games to be played in the Twin Cities.
